WA win one-day thriller at the WACA
Western Australia remain undefeated in the Marsh One Day Cup after a thrilling five run win over Queensland.
Matt Renshaw (104 off 114) who nearly singlehandedly won the game for the Bulls was run out attempting a two in the final over of the game chasing the target of 237.
Queensland needed seven from the final over Renshaw finding the fieldsman off the first two balls of the over and not taking the single before falling short of his ground and was run out.
Josh Phillipe found the going tough early before making his way to 73 from 94 balls while some late order hitting from Hilton Cartwright (41) and Matt Kelly (33) boosted WA to their total of 236.
Phillipe has now scored two hundreds and two fifties in the 50-over format this season.
Michael Neser claimed career best one-day figures of 5-29 off 9.2 overs.
Queensland lost three early wickets in the chase falling to 3-14 before a a steadying partnership between Matt Renshaw and Max Bryant.

When Bryant (23) departed Jimmy Peirson chipped in to help Renshaw claw away at the total.
Kelly claimed two quick wickets Peirson (16) and all-rounder Michael Neser (3) a short time later.
Renshaw went onto combine with James Bazley (31) for a 68-run partnership to get Queensland within 54-runs of the total.
The 26-year-old brought up his century a short time later with the game still in the balance.
Some lower order hitting from Gurinder Sandhu (18) and Mark Steketee (13) wasn't enough as Mitch Swepson joined Renshaw at the crease.
Kelly (3-34) and Jason Behrendorff (3-41) were the pick of the WA bowlers.
Renshaw's knock included 12 boundaries.
WA have made the perfect start to the competition winning four matches from as many games while Queensland are yet to have a victory after three outings.
