Waterman delisted by Bombers

Former Claremont midfielder Alec Waterman has been delisted by Essendon as part of three more list changes.

Waterman played 22 games for 27 goals after being a 2021 pre-season supplemental selection.

Speaking on SEN the 26-year-old said he was "surprised" by the decision.

"I thought I'd done enough for at least another 12-months but you go in with an open mind and now we move forward."

Waterman still believes he has more to offer and hopes he will be afforded another opportunity.

"If I'm able to get another life that would be fantastic, I'm really keen to keep going, I'd love to get another opportunity."

The delisted free agency period opens on November 3.
