Wildcats lose big man for season

The Perth Wildcats have been dealt a blow before the 2020-21 NBL season has even commenced, with big man Majok Majok suffering a torn Achilles tendon injury at training on Wednesday.
The club confirmed the news on Thursday afternoon, with the 27 year old to undergo surgery to repair the injury.
The West Australian averaged 3.3 points and 3.6 rebounds per game in the championship-winning 2019/20 season.
Perth Wildcats recruitment staff have begun the search for a replacement player, with the season set to commence in January.
