Wildcats lose fifth game in a row

The Perth Wildcats season has gone from bad to worse suffering a 85-77 loss to the Tasmanian JackJumpers.

It's the first time since 2005 the Wildcats have lost a fifth consecutive match and they have now lost nine of the last 13 at RAC Arena.

Bryce Cotton ran rampant in the first half scoring 16-points, four assists and three rebounds but when the visitors took control of him in the second half no one replaced his first half heroics.

Combined with a 19-3 run in the final quarter it was the perfect storm for the JackJumpers who were rebounding off a 24-point loss to the Breakers.

Cotton did all he could for the Cats leading the way again scoring 26-points plus six assists and five rebounds.

Jesse Wagstaff added 13-points and TaShawn Thomas nine.

The Wildcats back up again on Saturday taking on the 36ers in Adelaide.
