Wildcats outplayed by 36ers

The Perth Wildcats have slumped to an 11-point loss at home to the Adelaide 36ers 99-88.

It would have been much worse for the Wildcats who trailed by as much as 27-points at one stage.

Bryce Cotton scored 18-points in a losing side while Jesse Wagstaff and Terrico White scored 13-points each.

In a positive for the Wildcats development player Luke Travers hit a three to score his first NBL points.

Coach Trevor Gleeson said it was disappointing and it there was no excuses.

“We got outplayed. Full credit to Adelaide. They played at a higher level than us.” Gleeson said.

Next Perth host the ladder leading Sydney Kings on Friday night.
