Yeo set for more time of the sidelines

The Eagles are set to be without utility Elliot Yeo after suffering a hamstring in the side's 35-point loss to Richmond.

Injury plagued Yeo is facing another frustrating stint on the sidelines after being back for just three weeks from a calf tear, concussion and health and safety protocols.

Eagles coach Adam Simpson said he felt for Yeo who "just can't get a good run at it."

"He's been pretty good for us for three or four weeks and we built him up the right way.

"Unfortunately he just got in an awkward position and got pushed in the back going full tilt.

"It was one of those classic ones where you know straight away."

Richmond were the superior side at the MCG pulling away to a 20.8.128 to 13.15.93 victory.

“Thought our method was better around the contest. We were getting supply this week. Probably the highest for the year, we didn’t kick straight, that always hurts. Obviously Richmond deserved to win but we had moments of the game that we were on top.” Simpson said.

Nic Naitanui returned for his first match since being sidelined with an injury knee and was influential around stoppages collecting 19 disposals, 26 hit-outs and six clearances.

Tim Kelly had a prolific 40-disposal game including booting two goals while Jamie Cripps kicked three majors.
