Swan Districts 3.8 (26) def by. Subiaco 5.1 (31)
Subiaco upset the ladder leaders from seventh, disrupting a four game win streak for the Swans and defeating them by five points in a comeback win.
It was a slow start for the visitors, scoreless in the first quarter before a 3.0 to 1.4 third term brought the Lions back into the game.
They kept the Swans to a single point in the final term and kicked a goal in the fourth to ice the cake and snub the victory.
Accuracy pained Swan Districts – they kicked a poor 27.27% in front of goals to Subiaco’s 83.33%.
Krstel Petrevski was best on ground for the victors notching up 25 disposals, three marks, five tackles and hitting the scoreboard with two goals.
Claremont 4.8 (32) def. East Fremantle 4.5 (29)
The Tigers snubbed a win from East Fremantle with a late game push – a strong defensive effort keeping the visitors scoreless in the last quarter and allowing Claremont to kick the winning goal.
The Sharks started hot kicking two unanswered goals in the first term, holding onto the lead at the end of every term.
Sarah Wielstra was best on ground for East Fremantle with 18 disposals and two goals.
Jayme Harken stood out for the winners with 31 touches, also laying eight tackles and providing five entries.
Tackle pressure was hot during the clash – Sarah Viney led the way for the Tigers with 12 while Sarah Wielstra had 14 for the Sharks.

Perth 3.4 (22) def by. South Fremantle 3.6 (24)
South Fremantle dominated their win over the Demons, but a late surge from Perth gave themselves a chance to take the win in the final term.
2.1 to 1.1 in the final quarter favouring the home side brought the Demons within two points but they couldn’t get over the line at the final siren, jumping the Bulldogs up into fourth.
The Molly Warne and Kate Newson matchup in the ruck was close, providing a hit out differential of seven in South Fremantle’s favour.
Holly Britton stood out with 28 disposals for the Demons but Isla Baldwin was one of their best on ground with 19 touches and a goal.
Tahleah Mulder notched up 33 disposals for the Bulldogs, also laying immense tackle pressure with 10 tackles.
West Perth 4.9 (33) def. Peel Thunder 2.7 (19)
West Perth jump into fifth with a win over Peel Thunder on Sunday.
The visitors struggled to kick a goal until the final term, giving the Falcons ample opportunity to take advantage of their chances and boot a winning score.
Jessica Roper stood out for the victors with 27 touches, three marks and four tackles.
Zoe Huggett dealt the most damage on the scoreboard – she booted two majors for West Perth.
Chloe Wrigley caught the eye of many with a round-high 35 disposals, also providing eight marks, four tackles and five entries for Peel.
