Jack Crawshaw
Chairperson
Jack has been involved at SportFM over a number of years in various presenting roles and also gathering sponsors for the station. Jack works in a full-time capacity at the WA Football Commission in the Umpiring department and has officiated the game for more than 20-years.
Jack is passionate about SportFM being as progressive organisation and after assuming the Chair’s role in 2023, the legacy of founding Chair Colin Minson is very much at the centrepiece of the masterplan moving forward.
Peter Clough
Treasurer
Peter is a ex first class cricketer; playing for Tasmania and Western Australia in both the Sheffield Shield and one day domestic competition. He has been involved in a range of other sports on management committees and volunteering. (Little athletics, Riding for the Disabled, and Netball.) He is a past chairman of the board of Volunteering WA and currently serves on the Board of Synergy.
Peter is committed to ensuring SportFM is viable both now and into the future. Peter’s working career was in the Government, mining and oil and gas sectors.
Jacob Landsmeer
Secretary
Host of Sports Breakfast since 2020, Jacob has hosted sport FM programs since 2012 with the station, including WAFL World and the SMCA Cricket Show.
Caller of 7 WAFL Grand Finals, Jacob has been a part of the award winning WAFL coverage since 2017, also hosting 91.3 Sport FM’s Sheffield Shield coverage since 2017/18. Jacob has also broadcast Netball, Basketball and Tennis on the station and has been a member of the Western Sports Media board since 2016, serving as Secretary.
He is life member of the Willetton Crows Cricket Club, and an accomplished MC interviewing such sporting stars as Brian Lara, Wasim Akram, Brendan Fevola and Alex Rance.
David Clear
David has built a successful Sports Administration and Management career over the last 30 years. This includes operating for 12 years as part of the General Management Team at WA Cricket.
Holding qualifications in Sport Science and Media Studies and possessing a deep understanding of the importance of volunteers in clubs and the broader community, David is genuinely committed to the ongoing success and relevance of the station.
David continues to use his engaging manner to present on radio, Live Streaming and live hosting of events and thoroughly enjoys when he has an opportunity to commentate.
Peter Gianoli
By day Peter G is a leading marketing consultant to corporate Australia. A sought-after marketing specialist based in Perth Western Australia, Peter has developed an international reputation as a high end marketer.
Peter’s popularity has him regularly guest speaking on the National Speaker’s Circuit in the USA as well as Dubai, Malaysia and Singapore. Peter also works with charities in assisting them to raise their profile and awareness and in turn increase membership, sponsorship and donations.
Along with these pursuits Peter has been honing his radio presenting skills and music collection which is now over 70,000 songs.
He presents weekly on 91.3 SportFM.
Dani McKenna (nee Annear)
Dani graduated with a Bachelor in Economics, majoring in Japanese Studies at UWA, Having worked in Japanese specialist and mining executive recruitment, marketing of Western Australian products including seafood, Dani thrives in communication to assist in promoting people and local industry.
For the last eighteen years, Dani has focused on community dog rescue, undertaking a Behavioural Training qualification and volunteering at animal shelters, including educating and fundraising.
Growing up in a sports passionate household has led to a great love of following sports, in particular, cricket and Aussie rules football. Dani has supported South Fremantle Football Club for over forty years and is a member of both South Fremantle and Fremantle Football Clubs. With a keen interest in community and sports, listening to and supporting 91.3 SportFM has become an important part of daily life.
John Townsend
John is an award-winning journalist who has covered hundreds of AFL and WAFL matches and was The West Australian’s chief cricket writer for 23 years, John has been involved at SportFM since its inception.
His most significant contribution may have been suggesting the station name but he has also hosted shows, been a ball-by-ball and expert commentator, secured sponsors and played a major role in the campaign to retain the station licence.
