Perth jump into fourth with an 84-point thrashing over Peel Thunder.

The Demons started with an accurate first quarter kicking 5.0, continuing to apply scoreboard pressure for the duration of the match.

Peel couldn’t kick a goal in the second half, only converting a score 13% of the time they went inside 50 while the Demons were more efficient, converting 58% of the time they entered their forward 50.

Isabella Shannon was best on ground with 30 disposals, five marks, two tackles and five entries – she managed to slot six major scores for her side.

Lauren Davey and Katelyn Cox helped put scoreboard pressure on Peel with four and three goals each.

South Fremantle 5.2 (32) def by. Swan Districts 16.5 (101)

Swan Districts were domineering throughout in their 69-point victory over South Fremantle on the road.

Despite Kate Newson and Charlie Vandenberg controlling the ruck, the Dogs failed to convert it into inside 50 entries.

Both teams were accurate and kicked at 70%, but South Fremantle couldn’t give themselves enough opportunities to remain competitive on the scoreboard and only put up seven scoring shots for the day to Swan Districts’ 21.

Jaime Henry went ballistic and put up a season high 51 disposals, averaging 31.8 for the year so far.

Chloe Reilly and Keira Fawcett were punishing in front of goals kicking four major scores each – Ashley Sharp and Emma Nanut assisting with three and two respectively.

East Perth 1.5 (11) def by. Claremont 8.8 (56)

Claremont remain in second after a 45-point win over the Royals over the weekend.

East Perth failed to put a goal on the scoreboard until the second term, and despite recording four more entries than the Tigers they were denied scoring opportunities and were inaccurate when it mattered.

Kicking at 50% accuracy in front of goals, Claremont recorded eight different goalkickers – all taking one each.

Jayme Harken stood out for the victors with 24 touches, four marks, five tackles and three entries.

Jacinta Valentini was able to apply scoreboard pressure with a major among her 21 touches.

Subiaco 3.5 (23) def by. East Fremantle 5.6 (36)

East Fremantle remain in third after a 13-point win over Subiaco on the road on Sunday.

An accurate second half from the visitors powered them home, kicking 4.2 in the second half to 1.4 in the first.

Centre bounce control was pivotal in the victory with the Sharks recording 40 hit outs to Subiaco’s 27 – Zoe Kelly leading the way with 36.

Jae Flynn and Cienna Leslie were both effective in the middle with 25 and 22 disposals each, both of them able to hit the scoreboard with a goal.

Krstel Petrevski was best on ground for Subiaco with 33 touches, eight tackles, two marks and six inside 50 entries.
