The Sharks got their third win of the season over Perth at home under the lights on Friday – victorious by 17.
East Fremantle were lucky to hold on, scoreless in the final quarter and able to keep the Demons to just one-point in the last term.
A tight inside 50 count meant accuracy was crucial, the home side prevailing with 75% off eight scoring shots to Perth’s 50% off six.
Noa McNaughton was best on ground with 22 disposals, six tackles and also slotting two majors.
Isla Baldwin was everywhere for Perth, putting up 29 with 11 tackles and four entries.
Peel Thunder 4.1 (25) def by. West Perth 13.12 (90)
West Perth dealt a thrashing to Peel Thunder on the road on Saturday, winning by over 10 goals.
They got off to a hot start with 4.3 on the board at the first break and keeping the Thunder to 1.1.
The Falcons’ midfield benefitted off a stacked ruck performance, with three players combining for 40 hit outs and adding four goals to the tally.
Sabreena McKinnon led the way for the victors kicking four goals – one of four multiple goal kickers for West Perth.
A nightmare start continues for Peel, remaining winless after six rounds.

Subiaco 3.3. (21) def by. South Fremantle 5.7 (37)
The Bulldogs upset Subiaco at Sullivan Logistics Stadium today, prevailing in a 16-point win and moving up to sixth, the Lions dropping to fourth.
After a goalless first quarter, South Fremantle managed to stay ahead and pull away with two majors in the final term.
Despite a close inside 50 count, the Dogs were more efficient on the day and made the most of their opportunities in front of goals.
Paige Shepperd was best on ground for the home side getting 30 touches, seven marks, six tackles and a goal.
Shannyn Pomersbach booted three for the Dogs, while Ashleigh Gomes played a huge part in South Freo’s success with 26 disposals, five marks and three entries.
East Perth 3.2 (20) def by. Swan Districts 10.9 (69)
Swan Districts meant business at Sullivan Logistics Park, extending their undefeated start to 2026 with a win over East Perth by 49 points on Sunday.
The Swans got off to a hot start kicking 3.4 in the first and keeping the home side scoreless, with 4.2 in the last giving the victors a nice percentage boost.
Henry Jaime continues to make her case for the Dhara Kerr Medal putting stats on the board across all categories: 27 touches, four marks, seven tackles, two entries and a goal.
Tackles pressure was key for Swan Districts – Grace Hirst helping add to the tally with seven of her own to make the count 61-48.
East Perth remain in eighth with just one win for the season so far.
