AFLW veteran Dana Hooker played her first game of footy since November 2023 after giving birth late last year. She delivered a strong performance upon return, finishing with 23 disposals, seven tackles and a goal.
Former Eagle Krstel Petrevski was best on ground, earning 31 disposals, four tackles and a goal, while Paige Sheppard and Lisa Steane finished with 28 touches each.
For East Fremantle, Sarah Wielstra was a highlight, with 20 disposals and a goal, while Madison Evans and Maya Louvel-Finn were also among their top ball winners.

Friday afternoon delivered a mouthwatering clash between two of the competition’s strongest sides, both coming into the match undefeated.
But it was Claremont who kept their winning streak intact, keeping the visitors scoreless in the first quarter and kicking two majors of their own.
Claremont boasted the top seven ball winners for the game, with Sasha Goranova (22 disposals, nine tackles), Jacinta Valentini (22 disposals, six tackles) and Juliet Kelly (21 disposals, six tackles) the most prolific.
Poppy Stockwell was a silver lining for the Bulldogs in their first loss of the season, kicking three goals and finishing as the top disposal getter. Liusaidh Gilchrist, Tahleah Mulfer and Alyssa Smogavec also combined for a whopping 40 tackles.

PEEL THUNDER 4.6 (30) def by. SWAN DISTRICTS 5.7 (37)
Swan Districts has jumped ahead of Peel Thunder on the ladder after holding them off by seven points at Lane Group Stadium.
Swan Districts got away to an inaccurate start, trailing 2.4 to 1.5 at the main break. However, a three-goal surge in the third quarter edged them over the line to claim victory.
Isabella Edgely was the Swans’ top ball winner, with 31 disposals and five tackles, while draft prospect Carys D’Addario continued her campaign with 30 touches and eight tackles. Kayley King was the only multiple goal scorer, with two to her name.
For Peel, Chloe Wrigley amassed a whopping 12 tackles and finished on 23 disposals, while Holly Bilcich was also solid.
PERTH 5.3 (33) def by. EAST PERTH 6.6 (42)
East Perth have recorded its first win for the season in a bottom-of-the-table clash against Perth, still in search of its maiden win.
Saturday’s game marks the Royals’ highest scoring game for the season, despite not scoring in the final term.
Jess Verbrugge (25 disposals, eight tackles) and Brianna Cleggett (24 disposals and four tackles) were outstanding in the win, while Summer Mollross laid 12 tackles across the four quarters.
For Perth, Isabella Shannon and Gemma Dix stood tall, as did Fina Dethlefsen, who booted three majors and had 19 disposals.
Perth heads into a bye this weekend, but will take some positive momentum with them into Round 6, after keeping East Perth scoreless and booting three goals in the final quarter.
